My early career discipline came from my management and development and Marks and Spencer plc, UK. I rose to store manager before taking secondment to the training and development department, integrating and training the Point of Sale system throughout the retail network.
Looking for a new challenge I moved to the hospitality industry, and took the position of a senior manager at a five star hotel responsible for the Golf and Leisure Operations, which also included event management. I was part of a team that turned a failing hotel into a high performing business.
